Cold Rock - Mashed Up Ice Cream

I'm sure if Singapore had Cold Rock Ice Cremery when I was younger, I'll be so thrilled. It's like walking into the ice cream parlour /sweet shop cos there's so much of both. It's located at Holland Village, opposite haagan daz and it's only a week old. They have maltesses, M&Ms, Twix, Bounty, Gummie Bears, Kit Kat, Rocky Road Chocolate, Sponge Cake, Oreos, Graham Crackers, Cookie Dough, Fudge Brownie, Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Cadbury Flake, Time Out etc etc etc.

For each size, you can choose 2 ice cream flavours (Vanilla, Chocolate, Cookies and Cream, Peanut Butter, Tia Maria, Rum and Raisin, some Sorbet flavours, etc etc).
Then, you can choose fillings ($1 for each different filling) and then they will mash up the ice cream with two metal spatulas. This involves crushing the cookie, and folding it into the ice creamAll this mashing is done on a cold, icy slab so that your ice cream won't melt.

The finished product is thisOk , actually, I just like it cos it's like having a second childhood - bright lights, lots of sweets, lots of ice cream. It's a novelty (just like Bubble Tea).
They have 2 swings for chairs at the end - and we got them! Like the ice cream, it's a novelty.
The service is excellent - they're very friendly and helpful, and if you're new, someone will explain how to order the ice cream, and give you recommendations of what flavours taste best with what toppings.
While we were sitting there, they even served us water (without us asking) and all their staff give good service with a smile.

Even if it doesn't thrill the adults, kids will sure to have a fun time picking out the flavours and watching them mash up the ice cream.
Toppings are usually $1 each, but they're having a promotion now where the first topping is complimentary.
