I got stuck in a massive jam on the ECP for half an hour - and it wasn't even rush hour :( but my trudge to the East (again) is made worth while by the CheeseCake Cafe!

The menu is quite cool! It's in a DVD casing - great if you don't want your guest to keep dirtying the menu! It's super hardy and won't get dog-eared or yucky!
But since it was pretty dark in the cafe, it was quite hard to read it.

The cafe is nicely decorated - with a garden-ey feel and there's even a fountain inside, along with this light hole (dunno what's the exact name) over the fountain.

I ordered the Strawberry Oreo Cheesecake ($6.50+), which is a 2 layered cheesecake

I dunno how they managed to cut so cleanly through the oreo on top - it's so crumbly! This was my birthday cake (courtesy of claire) last yr :D
Dunno how come the bottom layer of oreo melted? or something and then it was super watery. But the top tasted fine.
We also had the Peach Jelly Cheesecake ($6.90++), which (I think) is a no-bake cheesecake. It's more gelatinous and lighter and has sourcream inside. The jelly layer is pretty interesting, and the bottom of the cake is made from cookie crumbs.
